The Memphis collection is entirely made in the UK, in the studio of one of Hatton Garden’s last pattern makers trained to create original models by hand. Bringing a maker’s sensibility to production, the pieces are cast in 14ct gold, then set and hand lacquered in London.
Inspired by Ettore Sottsass’s famous design movement, the collection enables the wearer to create totemic stacks of colour. Candy Pavé replaces the gold in Alice’s classic Memphis Single Stripe with a pave of diamonds or tone-on-tone colorful sapphires, creating a contemporary refresh.
Alice is regularly commissioned to recreate heirloom pieces into new jewellery in this style.
