The Memphis collection is entirely made in the UK, in the studio of one of Hatton Garden’s last pattern makers trained to create original models by hand. Bringing a maker’s sensibility to production, the pieces are cast in 14ct gold, then set and hand lacquered in London.
Inspired by Ettore Sottsass’s famous design movement, the collection enables the wearer to create totemic stacks of colour. The cold lacquer brings strength and durability as well as offering an unlimited palette, and the pieces can be worn together or next to client’s existing jewels to add flashes of vibrant colour.
