Alice Cicolini x Studio Raa

The Alice Cicolini x Studio Raa collaboration evolved, as many great things do, from close friendship. Illustrator Josie Ford and Alice worked together in the same studio for over a year and built a lifetime friendship. One day they spoke about working together on something and Alice sent Josie a series of pieces and images and a favourite book of miniatures that had belonged to her Mum. Josie came back with the most beautiful painted illustration in the style of a classic Indian horseman miniature, realised with Josie’s incredible technicolour imagination. “It’s your Spirit Animal” she said, and the idea for this animation was born, as Alice’s Spirit Animal walks through the landscapes of her own inspirations and creativity collecting her jewels along the way.
